Candice Diah joined the law firm of Gary, Williams, Parenti, Watson and Gary, P.L.L.C. in 2017 and works closely with Senior Partners, Willie Gary and Lorenzo Williams, on a wide variety of cases including civil rights claims, personal injury, wrongful death, and complex commercial tort claims.
Candice attended The University of Tampa, where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in international business and marketing and a certificate in French language. In 2013, she served as Miss Tampa Bay USA before travelling to France where she studied at The American Business School of Paris. Candice went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law where she completed externships in the Office of the General Counsel at Wake Forest Baptist Health and the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Middle District of North Carolina, and a judicial internship at the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago, IL.
She served as an Articles Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, and was active in several of Wake Forest’s Pro Bono projects. As a second and third year law student, Candice travelled throughout Nicaragua, where she worked with a group of law students conducting research and generating microtrade development strategies for small businesses.
Candice is admitted to practice law in North Carolina. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the National Bar Association. She is a native of Nassau, Bahamas, and when not practicing law, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and visiting family and friends in the Bahamas.
Everything was handled so well and felt so easy, although I know it’s not an easy process.
