“Many great men and women have sacrificed and fought hard for civil rights. It is only fitting that we celebrate and honor the NAACP for almost 110 years of dedication and service to African American communities throughout the United States,” said Gary. “Thanks to the vision of the NAACP, African Americans have been afforded opportunities our grandparents only dreamed of having.  While I am pleased that we have made substantial strides; I am also reminded of the fact that we have a long way to go.  It is up to us to embrace the challenge!” continued Gary.
